Princess Cruises has provided many Oregon repositioning Pelagics. They offer
a North or Southbound, 7 night trip that has 3 Inside Passage stops plus
Glacier Bay. Either a 2/3 or 1 1/3 day Gulf of Alaska scenic cruising would
provide open water seabirds. The itenerary varies slightly but is Vancouver
to/from Whittier/Anchorage. The Star has open bow access and goes North 27 Aug,
and South 3 Sep. Fares including most taxes and port fees are about $1000 @ for
two, interior. North would have more open water time but will go "into" the
weather more. Other dates are available, with other ships, and slightly higher
