I’m sorry to inform you that Florence resident, adventurer and avid birder
Anne Caples died Tuesday, January 22, at 9:25 pm.
Anne started Tuesday Birders in Florence and was involved with the Florence
CBC as well as numerous citizen science projects. She was an enthusiastic
ambassador for birds wherever she went
Holly, one of Anne’s dearest friends, said it best when she wrote, “She is
flying with the finches and no longer tethered to a pain-wracked body.
Look up!”
