I birded the perimeter of Ankeny NWR this morning from 8:00 - 9:00 with the
usual characters in attendance. The best sightings were a peregrine falcon at
Pintail Marsh and along the boardwalk leading to the marsh was a fox sparrow
and my first of the year white-throated sparrow.
