Hi all,
I stopped by Ankeny Refuge Pintail Marsh this evening and saw a pair of
Blue-winged Teal. They were dabbling in the east side grassy edges of the
marsh.
There were also 2 Semipalmated Plovers that were on the mudflats north of
the
parking area. Other shorebirds were Long-billed Dowitchers, Least
Sandpipers, 1 Western Sandpiper, and Greater Yellowlegs.
