Yesterday about noon an adult glaucous gull flew over the Fish Peddler
Restaurant at the Pacific Oyster Company in Bay City. Its mantle was pale gray.
The wingtips were white above, and the primaries and secondaries were white
below. It had few noticeable markings on its head and neck.
It may never be there again, but gulls are attracted to the fresh oyster shells
near the restaurant, and maybe this bird hangs out there.
