My wife Marilyn is currently in Fields on her way home from her trip to
Utah. She reports that it is very birdy at the oasis across road from the
store/motel. Best birds include Black-and-white Warbler, White-throated
Sparrow, male Williamson's Sapsucker, and 4 Hairy Woodpeckers. There are a
lot of sparrows, including White-crowned and Lincoln's, and lots of
Yellow-rumped Warblers.
I hope more folks have a chance to get over there - who knows what might
show up!
