Great question, I've never looked that closely at a Canada goose before. I
am going to guess different, mostly because of how the tertials fall and
how the fit into the scapulars. The birds are very similar, except for the
one image where the goose blinked. If the tertials and scapulars fall into
different places whenever the wings are flapped, then I don't know if there
is much difference at all. But are all Canada geese feathered in the same
general pattern? If the feathers fall differently whenever the goose flexes
its wings, I'd say these are probably two pix of the same bird.
Okay, I'm a novice at feather patterns.

Are these photos of the same bird? Are they photos of two different birds?
What differences can you see? Are they real differences, or due to bird
angle or position?
