As Roy Lowe was kind enough to point out to me, the circle generator
that I included with my previous post was far too generous (type in
5 mi radius and get 7.6 mi radius). Adjusted to the proper radius
my current species count is only 254.

life list. That's the advantage of doing much of my birding near home
