The 3rd North Grants Pass raptor survey was accomplished on (02-22-14)
Distance traveled: 37.9 miles; Survey time: 3.25 hours
Weather: overcast to clear
Results:
Red-tailed Hawk - 13
American Kestrel - 4
Bald Eagle - 1 (immature)
Red-shouldered Hawk - 7
White-tailed Kite - 1 (2 seen at this location on 02-20)
Merlin - 2
Not too bad a count day. Lots of TREE SWALLOWS at many different locations.
