After a early postponement due to weather, we conducted the 1st TRNWR - CBC on
January 3rd.2017. A total of 22 citizen science volunteers participated and
identified 95 bird species totaling 17,878 birds.
Unusual birds counted were: Saw Whet Owl, Palm Warbler, Black Phoebe, Greater
Yellowlegs, Acorn Woodpeckers, and Cinnamon Teal.
