Hi All, I birded NW Polk and SW Yamhill Cos some today, and found a Green
Heron at the Willamina Fishing Pond. There were about 10 VG Swallows along with
about 15 Tree Swallows there as well. This is the first winter-time green
heron I have seen in Oregon. I guess I am more inclined to assume it to be an
early migrant than a wintering bird.
I was in the general area looking for Kites, but did not succeed.
Bill Tice. Birding, the best excuse for getting outdoors, and, for avoiding
chores. POST: Send your post to obol@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
