I have seen Far Eastern in Australia and it looked a plainer brown color than
the Clatsop birds. That was over ten years ago and I don’t know it well.
The Clatsop birds look like female LBs to me, pretty rufescent in some areas.

Eastern Curlew has a bill even longer than Long-billed, but is otherwise
very similar. The best (and certain?) way to tell for sure is to photograph
the underwing linings,
uniform cinnamon in LBCU and barred in FECU. Perhaps Mike or another has
flight photos?

Every field guide I have treats this species superficially or even in error.
Attached is a photo of a flock that I took in Australia some years ago, in
September. Note the wing linings.
I don't believe there are any records for the lower 48.
Even if not a Far Eastern, it would be interesting to get a flight photo
from below of this bird; or any 'suspect' long-billed Curlew.
If Far Eastern were to show up in Oregon, this would be a good time, and
especially on the open ocean beach.
