Hi Everyone
I really appreciate Paul's remarks this morning as I was unsure on how to let
my OBE family know why I have been missing meetings lately.
I found out on October 7th that I had Bladder Cancer. I had surgery Friday
morning November 7th to remove it.. The doctor said it went well and he got it
all. I am sore but at home which is a good thing. I did not say much to anyone
as I wanted to see how it would all play out before I did,. I apologize for not
sharing with you before but just felt I should keep it low key.
I cannot do anything strenuous, no stairs, no walking, nothing to raise my
heart rate at all, I also have to be constantly drinking water so I have to
stay pretty close to the washroom!
I have a follow up appointment January 12th and will let you know the next
course of treatment.
I am hoping to make it out to next week's meeting but right now it is one day
at a time.
Sorry for not sharing this with you all earlier.
