[oagitm] Software Purchase Advisory Committee?

Greetings,
We are in the midst of determining if we should purchase a new SAAS product.
Due to the overlapping needs of this product it has been determined that an
advisory committee should be formed to receive proper buy-in from all the
stakeholders.
Has anyone been through a similar process and would you be will to share the
format you chose for this process?
