I hope you enjoyed the 2016 summer conference.  I know that I enjoyed
seeing all of you there – we had great topics and speakers.  I had several
folks comment to me that they enjoyed hearing about the presentations and
experiences from our own members – and that there seemed to be a bit of
‘extra collaboration and networking’ in the air this year.  Again, a big
thanks to you all.



As promised, I am sending out a request to you all regarding the network
presentation given by Alex Pettit.  His ask to you all was – are you
interested.  At this point, we’d like to get a tally of those who have an
interest in this effort so that we can attempt to understand and build a
scope around what this middle-mile network would look like.  Other than
your expression of interest, we don’t (as of now) have any other “to-do’s”
for you at this time.  Of course we’ll be reaching out to those interested
later as this evolves.



Additionally, if you are wanting to be engaged in the security model
(public health), please let me know that as well.
