Webinar: Law Enforcement’s Role in Cyber Incident Response
As part of its ongoing webinar series with the Regional Consortium Coordinating
Council (RC3) and the State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial Governments
Coordinating Council (SLTTGCC), the C3 Voluntary Program will co-host a webinar
on March 15, 2018, focusing on law enforcement’s response to a cyber incident.
The webinar aims to:
· Raise awareness about resources available to stakeholders in the event
of a cyber incident
· Demonstrate programs, tools, and resources used to be better prepare
for incident response and business continuation activities, as well as
demonstrate the benefits that can be achieved with successful implementation of
best practices
· Promote cybersecurity and incident response best practices and use
cases
· Discuss the importance of documentation, training, and awareness of
continuity plans with relevant employees, and its availability to employees for
reference
· Create awareness and connection opportunities and grow resilient
communities among critical infrastructure owners and operators; state and local
government personnel; and law enforcement resources
