Dear delegates,

I'm looking forward to seeing all of you soon.

I've attached the Bylaw Change Proposal that is referenced below, along with
the minutes so that all of these documents will be contained in one email.

I have also attached alternate language for the bylaw change for all to
consider.

I believe my proposed language accomplishes the intent of what is trying to be
codified but has these advantages:

*         The language change is much simpler

*         It eliminates giving the Nominations Committee appointment power
which is a power not currently explained elsewhere in the bylaws

*         Section A lists all the "elected" officers.  To introduce "appointed"
officers would complicate a rewrite of Section A

*         It doesn't introduce the term "protest for the record" which would
require additional explanation as to who/when/where/how this could be used.

Hopefully folks will agree that the alternate language gets the job done
better, but we can debate that too!
