Hi Pat,
Metro uses KRONOS with PeopleSoft HRMS. We've had different iterations of
KRONOS for years, but did an agency-wide update and rollout about 10 years ago.
The integration works well with PeopleSoft and since the integration flows
both ways, we are able to not only get timekeeping information into payroll,
but are able to keep employee and reports to information up to date.
The system works well overall, but there have been significant lessons learned,
along the way. The hardest parts have been business process changes, user
training and acceptance and proper implantation of labor contracts. Count on
the need for a good technical resource.
I'm happy to connect you with our technical resource for KRONOS, if you want
detailed information. She has a lot of good information on the functional-side
as well.

Subject: [oagitm] Electronic Timecards Question
Hello folks!
Here at Gresham we still do timecards the old-fashioned way. Each employee
fills out an Excel spreadsheet and prints it and turns it in. Those are then
entered into our fiscal system by hand ( SunGard/NaviLine ) and then the paper
is sent off site to be microfiched.
Needless to say we are looking to move away from this process and are
considering Kronos or ADP as they seem to work well with our current system.
So, my question is; If you are using ADP or Kronos would you mind giving me
some feedback such as:
* When did you implement the solution?
* What fiscal system do you have? How was the integration?
* Pro/Cons of the solution (ADP/Kronos)
* Any other questions you think would be helpful.
I really appreciate your time and feedback gang!
