Hey Pat,
I echo Mark’s reply. We also use Evidence.com for all bodycam video, cell
phone video and photos, and our newer Axon equipped vehicles. Just have to be
careful with the bandwidth issue.

Hi Pat,
Our Sheriff uses Axon’s Evidence.com and is pretty happy with it. Caveats:
not cheap, and sucks up bandwidth. We upload a lot of body-cam video so we
bought the Sheriff a dedicated internet pipe to prevent his Evidence.com
traffic from crowding out all our other internet traffic.

Subject: EXT: [oagitm] Digital Evidence Storage Solutions
Hello Folks!
Hope that you are all recovering nicely from Thanksgiving. I just finished up
the last of the pie at my place. 😉
It has become painfully obvious here in Gresham that my department just can’t
keep up with the growing needs of our Police to store digital evidence and that
the current way they are doing it currently has lots of challenges including
presenting some security issues on our business network. When the amounts were
smaller it was a bit easier to manage but it has gone way past that now…
So, we have been exploring certified cloud-based digital storage solutions
designed specifically for law enforcement like “Axon”, “Intrensic”, and
“Quantum” among others.
Because I hate reinventing-the-wheel, I wanted to see if any of you were using
one of these or a similar solution for your own law enforcement folks and if
so, how it was working for you.
Thanks for your time and hope to see you all at the winter conference.
~Pat
