For those interested and not already aware of it, there's a CIO
conference<http://www.premiercio.com/conferences/portland> Nov 13 & 14 at the
Crowne Plaza in Portland. Registration is free and vendors sponsor the meals,
so the only cost is your time and travel. I've attended a couple of times in
the past and found it worthwhile. Here is the
