Sandra,
We were very close a couple years back. Respiratory was willing to listen but
ultimately said no if I remember right due to infection control concerns.
You are correct. Huge savings.

Subject: [nyschp.dop] common canister inhalers
Hello,
Are any of you who are surveyed by the Joint Commission utilize the common
canister method for inhalers for your inpatients? Each patient would have
their own spacer.
It is a significant cost saver so I am looking into it.
Thank you
Sandy
