thanks.
cheers.

Hi,
I'm responsible for that part of NVDA (at least for Windows 10). You hear the sound yet NVDA isn't reading it? If so, NVDA might not be detecting the toast event correctly.
If other people can reproduce this problem, I'll investigate.
PddS. For search result announcement, I was able to do something about it, but it causes regressions (namely not announcing updated search results if I delete search terms). Because of this, I cannot proceed with this (I take regressions seriously, if it does cause one, I abandon it).
Cheers,
Joseph

joseph.
you can tell me if the automatic reading the notifications is still an
issue for NVDA?
here in my w10, NVDA can not always read notifications.
example:
auto start notifications, such as:
cd, dvd, flash drive, and other devices.
I always have to do the windows letter v shortcut command to interact
with notifications.
NVDA does not automatically read the notificacions.

This also happens in the system notifications.
nv-access's working on it?
this is still an issue for NVDA?
thanks joseph.
cheers.

Hi Windows Insiders,

Gabe Aul from Microsoft just published a tweet announcing immediate
release of Windows Insider build 10525 to fast ring insiders. The blog
can be found at:

http://blogs.windows.com/bloggingwindows/2015/08/18/announcing-wi
ndows-10-insider-preview-build-10525/

As always, recommendations for NVDA users apply:

텱o NOT install a stable version of NVDA nor an RC (release candidate)
on a computer running Insider builds, and please do NOT say to members
of the main NVDA list that you are using an Insider build nor
recommend people to do so unless if they are really adventurous
(please let뭩 keep discussions about Insider builds here).

텶 recommend using latest master snapshots, or if you are really
adventurous, use next snapshots (for fast ring Insiders, you might
want to use next; for slow ring testers, please continue to use master
snapshots).

텾lease send bug reports and feedback first to Microsoft and then send
it here so both this group and Microsoft officials can be notified.

텶 recommend running Insider builds as a virtual machine to reduce
impact on your physical machine.

텶f issues with NVDA are found, please let us know immediately so I
and other developers can come up with a hotfix (if any). If there is a
need for you to test a hotfix, I뭠l release the next Canary build
(unofficial snapshots).

Good luck.

Cheers,

Joseph
