Oh, don't worry, be happy!
In eMule works without +1, I don't know why.
Another question: why it's necessary a checkbox for changing the
keystroke for switchChar?
And perhaps all can be simplified, for instance, I have deleted the
script readColumn, and works fine.
And can't self.mode and self.ten be locale variables? I haven't tested it.

self.mod = self.childCount/10+1
(+1 is mine, it not works otherwise)
the computation is the same, but very much simpler.
A stupid question, but I get lost often in stupid question. XD
