This is possible if you had a crash dump file in your temp dir (There is
no better way to detect crashing that I know of). If you type something
in the box, and press okay, does it prompt you on the next reboot?

Well, I installed the add-on and NVDA restarted. The add-on thought NVDA had crashed.

Hello everyone:
I'd like to announce crash hero 1.0. This add-on automatically saves crash dumps if it detects NVDA has previously crashed when NVDA restarts. To find out more, visit http://addons.nvda-project.org/addons/crashHero.en.html
Thanks!
