The National Technical Association is pleased to announce its 88th Annual
National Conference. This noteworthy event will take place at Howard University
in Washington, DC on September 21-23, 2016.
This year's theme is "A Tribute to Excellence in Technology". We will explore
the ways that innovative technologies are affecting every field of STEM and the
implications for the future.
The Conference will consist of technically-oriented sessions, informative
displays and a Career Fair. Panel discussions, workshops, seminars and the
presentation of papers by professionals and students will center on the theme
for this conference. Discussions based on this theme will expound on the ideas
and methods available to the NTA and the minority populace to assist in
training the technical workforce for the future.
We invite all individuals and organizations to participate. The event kicks off
on Wednesday with the NTA Board Meeting followed by two days of professional
and career development sessions. Thursday evening features a black-tie Awards
Gala in which outstanding minority engineers, scientists, and technical
entrepreneurs will be recognized for their technical achievements. The
Conference ends on Friday with a Student STEM Fair and Luncheon.
