The organization of Black Aerospace Professionals are having their annual
conference in Orlando FL, August 9-11th 2017. They have a Youth day program on
August 10th and are looking for student groups (preferred ages of 12-18 years)
from Florida in the Orlando, Tampa, Cocoa Beach and Sarasota to participate.
Please let me know if you having any youth groups that would be interested.

and I need to make reservations. I noticed in your first email it said covering
airfare but in this later transmission it doesn’t mention the airfare. I am
concerned because the trip becomes cost prohibitive if the airfare is not

Additionally, I will need to bring my daughter. I am going to have to cover her
airfare. Would it be too much to ask to have her two meals covered as well? Is
there a signup for the youth activities so she can be included?
Awhile back I think I inquired about a Jack and Jill chapter attending from
Tampa. Note sure where that landed. Have you heard anything?

heads up. I thought it was during the Friday evening event so I will need to
figure out whether they should make the trip.
Can you tell me what the OBAP hotel rates are so I can determine if I want to

Hope you and family are well. I have attached a copy of the convention
schedule for your review. Hall of Fame inductees will be honored during the
Pioneer Breakfast on Thursday, August 10th, 8-10:00am.
This year we invited NASA's educational team (Hortense's group) to participate
in the Youth Day program since they are local and we've had the opportunity to
experience their work in Orlando in the past. You are welcome to join them, if
you like. Priscilla Moore is leading their team.
Yes, please definitely invite the Tampa Jack and Jill Chapter students to
participate. I have attached copies of everything that they will need to
register, including instructions on how to. We will host approximately 130
students max this year, because of time constraints and the number of
activities in the program. So please encourage them to register now.
I'm about to get on a conference call, but I will be in and out of the office

My name is Dannielle Boggs and I will be assisting Lynda Gray throughout the
2017 OBAP Convention in Orlando. I wanted to introduce myself since I will be
your point of contact before and during the convention. I will be able to
assist you with registration, transportation, and hotel accommodations.
Congratulations on being inducted into the 2017 OBAP Hall of Fame!
I wanted to confirm your hotel arrival/departure dates and the number in your
party? Also, if you are flying into Orlando the ground transportation will be
provided by Disney's Magical Express. You will have to reserve a seat on the
motor coach for everyone in your party. The coach will pick you up from the
airport and take you directly to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. I have
attached registration instructions to this email.
When you arrive at the hotel, your convention badge and tickets to the Founders
and Pioneers Breakfast and Youth Luncheon will be at the registration desk.
You will receive a complimentary one night stay on Wednesday, August 9th. As
soon as I receive your hotel confirmation number, I will forward that
information to you. I will print out a schedule of events taking place
throughout the convention for you. Also, OBAP has an app that will send out
updates during the convention.
The last and most important part: Please provide a current head shot, high
resolution photo (640 dpi or greater) and a condensed biography that we can
include in our convention material. Also, complete the Release Form included
