UNCF/Fort Worth ISD Scholarship
The United Negro College Fund and employees of the Fort Worth Independent
School District are pleased to announce a scholarship program that is open to
spring 2012 Fort Worth ISD graduating seniors who will attend a UNCF member
college/university or an other historically black college or university (HBCU).
Requirements:
* Student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
* Student must be a 2011-2012 graduating senior from a Fort Worth ISD high
school.
* Student must be enrolled full-time at a UNCF member institution or other
historically black college or
university.
Scholarships
Scholarships up to $5,000 will be awarded to students who demonstrate financial
need and academic
potential. Students must submit an essay as part of their application.
The scholarship award will be sent
to the Financial Aid/Scholarship office at the student's UNCF/other campus upon
proof of enrollment.
To apply:
* Go to www.uncf.org.
* Select the For Students tab.
* Select Scholarships from the drop-down menu.
* Select Fort Worth Independent School District Program from the list.
Deadline for application is April 15.

graduating seniors who will attend a UNCF member college/university or any
other U.S. accredited four-year college or university.
Requirements:
* Student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
* Student must be a 2011-2012 graduating senior from a Dallas ISD high school.
* Student must be enrolled full-time at a UNCF member institution or other
accredited four-year college
or university.
Scholarships
Scholarships up to $2,500 will be awarded to students who demonstrate financial
need and academic
potential. Students must submit an essay as part of their application.

This is one of the scholarship's I have been waiting on from UNCF.
Please pass it on if you know of a graduating high school senior or
