Education Consortium for Research and Evaluation (DC-EdCORE) research and policy activities. * Develops research agendas with the DC-EdCORE Steering Committee, Partners Committee, and the leadership of the Graduate School of Education and Human Development. * Initiates and manages budgets for activities supported by government, university and foundation funding. * Manages ongoing relationship with the National Research Council (National Academies) standing committee on DC schools evaluation. * Develops and strengthens engagement with current and potential grant-making and philanthropic organizations. * Supports and manages priority setting development of memoranda of understanding with research partners for studies in which they have major roles, and allocation of resources to support research and evaluation activities. * Leads ongoing, two-way communication with a broad base of stakeholders and policymakers in order to draw on their insights and concerns and to communicate DC-EdCORE findings in ways that are accessible, timely, and relevant to them. * Performs other work related duties as assigned.
