Do your students know they can earn college credit this summer for completing 
the HOBY Advanced Leadership 
Academy<https://t.e2ma.net/click/7etyr/z82vsp/nf4n4e>?
WHO: High School Juniors and Seniors from the USA, Canada, and Mexico
WHEN: July 5-10, 2015
WHERE: George Mason University, Fairfax, VA
WHY: Student is looking for a life-changing experience and the practical 
leadership skills to activate positive social change in the community, while 
also earning college credit
COST: $895 per student which includes all onsite expenses at George Mason 
University (tuition for 1 college credit/unit, lodging, meals, book and program 
materials, shirt, etc.)
COLLEGE CREDIT: Students earn 1 credit/unit for successful completion of the 
ALA, plus 2 credits for successful completion of their post ALA project with 
submitted final report = 3 credits total. The ALA fee includes the tuition for 
the first credit. The 2 additional credits are $200 total and that tuition is 
paid with final project report submission.
PAYMENT: $100 deposit to hold a spot, pay in one lump sum or monthly 
installments, full payment due 6/15/2015
AIRPORTS: Arrival by car at GMU, or by flight to Dulles International Airport 
(IAD) or Reagan National Airport (DCA)
OPTIONAL: Post-ALA Washington, D.C. “Highlights” Sight-Seeing Tour July 10-12, 
2015 for $495
