Concerned Black Men-National Organization (CBM) is honored to be the lead
mentoring organization to sponsor the Mentoring Monday Phone-A-Thon to be
televised on Monday, August 16, 2010 in partnership with WTTG FOX 5 Television.
CBM's "call to action" to recruit mentors and create an awareness of the
importance of mentoring has resulted in this annual televised event.
The Mentoring Monday Phone-A-Thon will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010 from
6 am -11 am at the WTTG FOX 5 station located in Washington DC.
A televised Public Service Announcement (PSA) campaign to promote the event
featuring a CBM Capital City Cares(r) mentor and mentee will begin airing the
weekend of July 31, 2010 in the following WTTG FOX 5 viewing areas: Washington
DC, Northern VA and Maryland's Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties.

Concerned Black Men works to create an American where every child has a
responsible and caring adult in his or her life. Founded in 1975 in
Philadelphia, PA, CBM has grown to include a National Office based in

and tutor youths of all ages, and conduct "best practice" model programs in the
areas of mentoring, teen pregnancy prevention, fatherhood, literacy and other
