Reminder that the club barbecue will be happening on the North Downs field at
12-30 Sunday 4 Aug and the auction / sale of Norman Eyers' equipment from 1-30
or soon thereafter. Do come along and bring the family. We're hoping that
Norman's son Martin and the field owners, James and Charlie Hills may also be
there.
John Moyler is kindly providing barbecued food but feel free to bring a salad
etc (and anything for particular dietary requirements.)
It's been pointed out there's a few roadworks going on this weekend! Hopefully
this won't have too much impact on getting to North Downs but worth keeping an
eye on traffic information. And good to send any updated info tomorrow to this
list - those of us taking over the gear for the auction will be back and forth
from fairly early morning and will keep you posted but will all be coming from
east of Faversham.
I'm taking the opportunity to bring along new blue cards to put in the car when
on the field for those that don't already have them have. I'm doing cards for
Konstantin Angelov, Tony Fletcher, John Groves, Bill Harris, Ray Harris (if he
gets back to me in time about the missing information!), Ian Nicholls, Anton
Subotinas, Colin Webster. Anybody else not have a card and need one? Existing
blue cards will continue to be absolutely fine - you don't need a new one if
you've got one.
