In response to Dave: what was being discussed initially was, as I understand
it, the possibility of holding organised competitions - probably rounds of the
Kent Interclub comps - which would bring in significant numbers of people who
are not ordinary North Downs members. I'd love it if we could do this but it
seems clearly to be precluded by the terms of our planning permission.
