Dear All
I have now counted the proceeds from the sale and auction at the BBQ on
Saturday of the Roger Fagg Collection
It was agreed with his wife Eileen that I could sell whatever I was able with
50% going to the club and 50% for Roger’s grandchildren
Due in no small part to George’s involvement in taking unwanted items at the
minimum price I had put on each article (in most cases this was £5) virtually
all items were effectively sold and I went home with only two crates of left
overs
I had never imagined this would be achieved, so I was surprised to discover the
total was £470.
I will be giving our Treasurer a cheque for £235 as the Club’s share and taking
Eileen cash in the sum of £235
Not a bad days effort. Thanks to everyone who contributed

Thank you for coming to the BBQ. I would like to thank Brian and Mike for
their support and helping out. Mike Anders for holding the auction. Also I
would like to thank my daughter who helped out today, she was not at the
auction as she had to prepare for the carnival sea cadet band. See attached
picture.
