The packages that are marked as delivered only to arrive the next day are
symptoms of the same problem that has been around for a few years.

Workers will frequently scan the packages and mark them as delivered so
they aren't penalized for the package by Amazon for not being able to keep
up with the immense load. The only exceptions are the ones marked as
delivered with an accompanying photo of the delivery - that was definitely
delivered and if it isn't where it is in the photo then it was likely
stolen.
