Public works just removed all of the debris from a tree that had shed numerous
branches during yesterday’s storm. The branches had totally blocked lower
Baltimore Ave but residents had dragged them off to the side to allow cars to
pass. And now Public Works has taken them away. Thank you to them!!
The tree that keeps losing branches in virtually every storm is one that Pepco
wanted to take down several years ago but was refused by the city arborist at
that time. Hopefully that can be reconsidered before someone is injured or
property destroyed!
