The 2021 Takoma Park Folk Festival Musical Program is coming to you on
September 12, 2021, live-streamed in two concurrent tracks and showcasing the
best local talent that could fit into a condensed schedule. Plan to tune in
and have a watch party! The Festival will feature its usual diverse program of
music, including traditional folk and roots with more than a little soul, rock,
and topical thrown in. Performers range from well-known local musicians and
songwriters, to emerging artists who are already making their mark on the
area’s music scene. The program is organized around the Festival’s traditional
six stages and will be hosted by musician and festival program chair Wendy
Lanxner and the radio personality and musician Mary Cliff. Also on September
12, the Festival’s Juried Craft Show will be outdoors at the Takoma Park
Community Center from noon to 6:30. Plus there will be opportunities for
informal music-making during that time. Details on both portions of the
