I understand there has been some confusing information about the schedule
for street re-surfacing in North Takoma. I reached out to Ian Chamberlain
in the Public Works Department for a clarification on the timetable. He
responded as follows:
"It looks as though paving for both New York and Baltimore Avenues will
happen tomorrow. There were delays from poor sub surface conditions which
created additional preparation work. The contractor will redeploy to pave
Birch, Maple, and Maplewood at a later date."
