Hi All -
Back in May a friendly and generous neighbor on Baltimore Ave posted on
this listserv offering a porch swing "...with forest green cushion for
free Peeling white paint, but still solid."
Wanted to let everyone know I picked up the swing that rainy Sunday night
and have restored and re engineered it into a very nice porch glider as
part of my side-hustle MCH Furniture Restoration. I rescue, repair and
restore vintage furniture, keeping them out of landfills and passing them
forward to another generation.
FYI the listserv is a useful tool for diverting unwanted furniture that may
otherwise end up at the curb (which I also regularly patrol!).
