Thank you for this opportunity to promote my employer, Kaiser Permanente. We
recently started paying separately for coverage for our 26-year-old son for
$262 per month. Our entire family is very happy with the Kaiser Permanente
system.

I went through this last summer in Maryland, and would be happy to talk with
you.  Each state has a different marketplace.  For NYS, I think you would need
to go here<https://nystateofhealth.ny.gov/>.

Last year, needed to do that.  First, we went  with BC/BS, but while they
provided coverage, because they were too slow to get my son under coverage.
Next tried United Health, and they were easy to work with for getting the
basic, temporary coverage we were seeking. For the few claims he had, they
seemed reasonable.

I would like to know as well.  I have twins who will be 26 this October.  One
of the twins lives in Brooklyn and is a gig worker and
heathcare.gov<http://heathcare.gov> shows just 4 bronze companies (no gold, no
silver) you have never heard of -- not Aetna, not Cigna, not Blue Cross -- and
he is terrified about that.

G'day,

Does anyone have experience getting health insurance for their 20-something?
Please let me know offline.

Cheers,
