In the days and weeks ahead, many Afghan refugees will be arriving in the DMV.
There are also many arriving from the southern border. All arrive with little
more than the clothing on their backs! Many have been traumatized.
You are more essential than ever!
Adventist Community Services of Greater Washington, 501 Sligo Ave. SS, MD 20910
is collecting items to assist with local resettlement efforts. See the
attached list of recommended items.
Sorry, Due to space challenges, furniture cannot be accepted.
Items on the attached list can be dropped off at 501 Sligo Ave. Monday-Thursday
9am-4pm.
Monetary donations can be made at www.acsgw.org. After entering the donation
amount you can choose to specify the donation for Resettlement. For updates
