Do you have any artwork that you would like to donate to an Afghan refugee's apartment? The Homes Not Borders team from my congregation, Kehila Chadasha <https://kehilachadasha.org/>, is going again on Sunday to set up and decorate another apartment and can use donated artwork to make it homey. The group can arrange to get the art from you and bring it to the Homes Not Borders warehouse before Sunday.

For cultural reasons, the subject matter of the artwork is important:   In addition to paintings/artwork in good condition (not ripped, torn, stained), they ask that the subjects not include farm animals, dogs or have a portrait of a human face as its focal point. The art they leave helps make the homes feel more complete and welcoming than one that just has bare walls. It's a critical part of making a family feel safe and secure in their new space.

Thanks,
Sue
