I found one of these yesterday near a tree in my front yard. It's not only
invasive, it can be poisonous to some butterflies. I think I saw more at
the corner at Takoma and Buffalo just now on my walk. Here's a link to a

It had a very long tap root and I hope I got it all. I think we had at
least one in the same spot last year or the year before, and evidently I
didn't get it all...
