Hi everyone!
Your support of Small Things Matter's Kokua Foods distribution program is vital
to providing over 1000 families in Takoma Park/Silver Spring with food support.
We distribute fresh produce each week on Friday and Sunday as well as
pantry/nonperishable foods 2x/month on Tuesdays (STM teen pantry).
Monetary donations are greatly needed to support our efforts and can be made
via our website http://www.smallthingsmatter.org , check, venmo, paypal, or our ;
GoFundMe . Donations of food are also gratefully accepted. Perishable foods can
be brought to us at the TPSS Coop on Friday mornings (we're at the back
packing). Nonperishables items can be dropped off anytime inside the TPSS coop
(we have a cart near the service desk). All donations are 100% tax deductible
since we are a 501(3)c. We also welcome groups that want to sponsor a food
distribution or families that wants to commemorate their special day such as a
Bar Mitvah or birthday with a donation.
Our thanks to all of you--our community, students who make food and donate gift
cards and cleaning supplies, all of our partners, and to our team of teens and
adults who tirelessly pack, distribute, and deliver food! I know what we do it
a little confusing because we have spaces all over TP are distribute from and
to multiple sites, but it reflects both the need and the generosity of our
community to step up and help one another.

Adventist Hospita l: hosts pantry, book, and toy storage
Rockville home: host large freezer

Also for those of you who are interested in getting a Pfizer vaccine we will
have another vaccination clinic on Sunday, June 6 from 10-4pm at the TP
Community Center foot bridge. Please register at the link below. We are also
taking walkups.
