Altho the Afghan refugees need furniture and “home set ups” are requested,
there is no drop off site for furniture. Plus, I do not have a vehicle large
enough to get the furniture into.

If anyone or a group nearby organizes to do a home set up, let me know. This
furniture will likely be gone by then, but I have other furniture I can donate.
If anyone can transport this furniture from Dupont Circle to Takoma Park in the
next couple of days, I can store it for that purpose.

The first is a Queen Anne style desk that had been refinished. Unfortunately,
someone put an iced drink on it, leaving a circle, and it’s gotten a bit more
abuse since.
There is a beautiful, large square occasional table with curved legs with minor
damage to the top that should clean up.
There is a wooden rocker with ottoman that is very comfortable but needs some
attention. The wood needs to be polished up, maybe re-stained, and the pillows
cleaned or replaced. I’ve not seen it without pillows; maybe it would be just
fine without any.
There is also a small side table or mini desk. Top needs to be refinished.
If you have interest, you would need to come with a car/truck that can
accommodate the furniture.
