For some cats the monthly topical back of the neck treatment works really
well. Or if not, there is a great Seresto collar that lasts 8 months. The
fleas would much rather be on the cat than anywhere else, so once you get
something on her that kills them, the ones that you miss vacuuming will die
that way. My sympathies! Not fun, but you can do it!

Get capstar for the cat and cat flea preventive. Petco will have it.
Then get out the vacuum. Vacuum everything twice a day for many days. Even
wood floors. The vacuum will scoop up bunches of fleas and will badly
injure the rest. There is actual science on this.
