We have two home-quality hospital beds available, free to anyone in the
neighborhood who can use them and move them. The motorized bases are
relatively heavy, so it takes two people to carry them. I carried them in with
a younger, stronger helper, but I’m not carrying them out, sorry!
The head and the foot lift independently. These are ideal for a couple who
need one head raised a bit and the other flat, because they can be put side by
side and covered with a king-size comforter. Of course they raise much farther
up if you need to sit up in bed. They have two different-firmness clean
mattresses, or you can put your own mattresses on them to suit.
