It looks like I somehow missed this set of emails when they first came
through. My apologies for that. I'll take a look at the site and discuss it
with City staff. Thanks to Mike for bringing it up.

Peter Kovar is our council rep and he gets involved pretty quick on most
things. Peter, can you take a look at this? Signage might be a good idea?
Cross walk at entrance?

Hello,
Living across from the park and having 2 young kids I’m there quite a bit
and I’ve seen numerous close calls with kids exiting the park and cars on
Albany. From what I can see there are 2 main issues. (1) The bushes around
the entrance are too high to see traffic until you’re practically in the
street. (2) It’s not obvious to vehicles that’s a park entrance because
there is no marking, signage, or crosswalk. Cars come pretty fast on
albany and unless they’re familiar with the area they have no reason to
suspect a 2 year old may just pop out into the road. Does anyone know the
process for getting the city to take a look at this?
Thank you!
Mike on Albany
