Hi Judy - Thanks again for the Mr. Avalos connection. He's come and given an
estimate, and since it's a fairly long area, I'm assuming $3K isn't
unreasonable, as he also has to remove all the roots, but I've never had
landscaping done before and am unfamiliar with costs. Meadows Farm also gave us
an estimate for planting into the cleared area of about $3600 with another $1K
for soil amendment/mulching. Given your profession and experience, do these
rates sound fairly standard? I think the barrier would be about 60ft, with a
60x5 ft area available for new plantings.
Please ignore these questions if you're busy or not certain about costs these
days, and thanks again for introducing us to Mr. Avalos - he remembered you
immediately!
Best, Linda

Anyone have recommendations for a company that can build a bamboo barrier? We
have the creeping rhizome type, not clumping. The tree company that removed a
couple of trees we lost in the storm cut down the bamboo stand but now we need
abatement or those stinkers will come right back.
And any recommendations for a landscaper?
Thx!
