EMERGENCY MESSAGE: 9/1/2021 at 11:28 AM -- Refresh page to update message
All MCPS schools (including the Virtual Academy) will dismiss early today,
Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, due to severe weather conditions. Significant amounts
of rainfall with the potential for dangerous flash flooding are expected as
part of the remnants of Hurricane Ida. Students will be dismissed 2.5 hours
earlier than the usual dismissal times. All school and community-use activities
in school buildings also are canceled. Daycare programs in school buildings
will be closed. MCPS employees will receive further information about the
status of administrative offices.Question: What Time Do Schools Regularly
Close?!
