Arrgh! My mistake!
So dazzled by the overall polish that I'd forgotten WiFi on the Macbook. doh.
Sorry about that!! :-(
Never had much luck with Broadcom wifi. sigh.

He Paul,
I can't help with the MacMini as I am new to NomadBSD as well.
But I was wondering about your experience with the Macbook Air. Did you
manage to get Wifi to work on the built in card? I have a macbook air 2011
and no success for me so far to convince the BCM43224 to work. Any hints
would be appreciated!
thx

Thanks very much for the efforts behind nomadBSD 1.3 !
It works as advertised on a MacBook Air 13-in, mid 2012.
It works with minor tweaks on a dumpster-rescued Amilo Li1705 laptop:
[

]
+ ran "pkg install xf86-video-openchrome"
+ added these 3 lines to "/boot/device.hints"
hint.hdac.0.cad0.nid31.config="as=1"
hint.hdac.0.cad0.nid32.config="as=1 seq=15 device=Headphones
conn=Jack"
hint.hdac.0.cad0.nid29.config="as=2"
My humble request:
- any quick tips to get nomadBSD 1.3/x86 running on a MacMini1,1 ?
[ the MacMini1,1 (A1176) is already running FreeBSD 11.2-i386 ]
Thank in advance for any pointers.
